Beggars Can't Be Legal Secretaries

The amount of blogs I've written about looking for a job is quite unbelievable.

But it's quite a big thing at the moment, in that I've got rent to pay very soon (not that I'll be living in the house I'm paying rent for until the 14th, but that's a different rant altogether) and I'm just hideously poor.

It's rather difficult to find a job when you're not going to be in the same country for the next few weeks, employers don't seem keen on hiring people with better things to do than work. Fair enough. So, I've been applying to lots of lovely looking jobs today... hoorah!

Some jobs are asking for far more experience than seems necessary. Also, more qualifications than seem necessary in my opinion, but that's probably because I don't have the qualifications they're asking for. I mean honestly, who has typing qualifications?! Chavs and the over 60s - that's who! It's the bloody 21st century: everyone can type. Especially bloggers who are on msn constantly! I just found out that I can type at 75wpm, which I think is quite good, but as it's not an official qualification I'm guessing it doesn't count.

Saying that, there are also a lot of jobs that don't ask for any experience. I've spent nearly 6 months at my most recent job, which is probably enough to learn how to answer a phone and send emails.

I keep seeing really cool looking jobs that have really important sounding names, but most of them need a typing qualification.
Bastards.
I can type.
I'll prove it...
SEE!
